The following personal data is collected, processed and stored for the purpose of product optimization, user communication and target group advertising:

We have no control on the exact scope and recording of this data and we also have no access to your personal data. We would like to point out that the personal data collected by the app store is processed and stored outside the EU.

We cannot identify the individual user through the non-personal data provided by the app store. The data provided is evaluated by us for statistical purposes only.

2. WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT WHEN YOU VISIT OUR WEBSITE OR DOWNLOAD A VIDEO?

When you access our website (kidscut.app) or download a video from our app from a server or from our web host (1&1 IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany), all necessary personal and non-personal transferred data (log files) from your end device (computer, smartphone, tablet etc.) is automatically processed and stored.

The log files contain the following data:

3. WHAT DATA IS COLLECTED WHEN YOU VISIT ONE OF OUR FAN PAGES?

We maintain so-called fan pages on social media to inform active users and interested parties about our products and news. When one of our fan pages is accessed, (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube), personal and non-personal data will be collected from you and transmitted to the server of the respective provider, where it will be processed and stored. We would like to point out that your data may be processed outside the European Union.

With regard to the US providers who are certified under the "Privacy Shield", we would also like to point out that these providers are obliged to comply with EU data protection standards.

The promotional use of personal data is the provider’s primary interest. Use of their platforms and functions are at your own risk.

Any direct contact by you as a user from one of our fan pages, e.g. via inquiries,likes, ratings, sharing, comments or feedback,as well as any communicaiton of your personal information should be viewed as an expressed voluntary contribution performed with your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a GDPR.

Your data which is shared by providers such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube will be used by us for market observations and user communication, in particular through initiating and collecting user feedback.

Processing of personal data provided to us takes place on the basis of our "legitimate interests", in order to to better match videos in terms of content, design and length to user behaviour, as well as for optimizing effective information and user communication in accordance with Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR. In addition, we do not save any personal data outside of what is shared by the providers on our fan pages.

We also use the statistics functions to learn more about visitors to our fan pages. The use of this function enables us to adapt our content to the respective target group. In this way, we also use demographic information about the age and location of the users, whereby no access to personal information is possible for us.

The following personal and non-personal data is collected, processed and stored by the providers of our fan pages for the purpose of product optimization, user communication and target group advertising:

We assume that your data will be transmitted and stored on Google servers in the USA. According to the judgment in case C-210/16, the EUGH decided that platform operators (like YouTube) and the operator of a channel on the platform are jointly responsible for the data processing carried out via the respective channel. In this respect, platform operators and channel operators are viewed as joint controllers and are jointly responsible in accordance with. Article 26 GDPR.

We only receive personal data from you if you as a YouTube user contact us, e.g. via inquiries, reviews, likes, shares, comments or feedback, and such contact and the communication of your details are made expressly on a voluntary basis and with your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

  • Subscription status for YouTube channel, subscription source and playlist

What data does YouTube collect from you when you visit our fan page?

On the one hand, YouTube processes your voluntarily entered personal data, e.g. Name and username, email address, telephone number or the contacts in your address book in case you uploaded or synchronized it. On the other hand, YouTube also evaluates the content you share based on which topics you are interested in, saves and processes private messages you send directly to other users, and may determine your location based on GPS data, information provided by wireless networks or through your IP address, to send you advertising or other content.

To do this YouTube may use analysis tools such as Google Analytics. Should YouTube utilize tools of this type on our channel, this does not happen on our behalf. Any data obtained during the analysis is also not made available to us. After all bear in mind that YouTube also receives information about you whenever you, for example, view content anywhere even if you have not created an account with them.

This so-called "log data" may be your IP address, the browser type, the operating system, information about any previously accessed websites and the pages you have accessed, your location, your mobile operator, the end device you are using (including Device ID and Application ID), any search items and cookie information you have used. You can limit the processing of your data in the settings of your YouTube account.
